Emmanuel Ajayi
Digital designer · security-minded

I design sharp, honest
products, brands & sites.

Independent designer and front-end builder. A soft spot for interfaces that respect the people using them, and a quiet habit of breaking things to understand them.

Four I'd show first.

A spread across registers — a product app, a bold brand page, a quiet clinical site, and an offline-first PWA.

03 — About

Designer first. Hacker-adjacent.

Portrait of Emmanuel Ajayi

I'm a designer who learned the web by breaking it, then building it. Front-end on one monitor, Burp Suite on the other.

Most weeks I'm shaping product UI, running a brand through type and colour, or standing up a small site end to end — from the first scrap of copy to the live URL. Some weeks I'm digging through someone else's auth flow for a CTF. The two sides keep each other honest: security forces clarity, design makes security usable.

I like short briefs, direct clients and projects where I can touch every layer. If that sounds like your thing, say hello.

04 — Skills

Two practices, one person.

Design is the day job. Security is the training ground that makes the design more honest — fewer dark patterns, clearer flows, less data to lose.

01 Design & build

  • Product design
  • Brand & identity
  • Web design
  • Design systems
  • Prototyping
  • Figma
  • HTML / CSS / JS
  • React 19
  • Astro
  • Tailwind v4
  • TypeScript
  • Service workers
  • PWAs
  • WCAG 2.2 AA

02 Security

  • OWASP Top 10
  • Threat modelling
  • Secure auth UX
  • Privacy-first design
  • CSP & CORS
  • Burp Suite
  • Nmap
  • Wireshark
  • Linux CLI
  • Bash / Python
  • Hash cracking
  • Web pentesting
  • CTF (web / crypto)
  • HackTheBox

I don't ship untested forms, open redirects or auth flows that leak. The security hat stays on while the design hat is on.
